Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Process Engineer with strong experience in shop-floor management and manufacturing process improvement. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of CNC machining, plastics processing, and composite manufacturing, along with the ability to manage production activities, troubleshoot process issues, improve productivity, and ensure consistent quality.
The candidate will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, design, and supply-chain teams to optimize manufacturing processes and achieve targets related to productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
Key ResponsibilitiesShop Floor Management
- Manage and monitor day-to-day shop-floor manufacturing activities.
- Coordinate with production teams to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
- Monitor manpower, machine utilization, production output, rejection, rework, and downtime.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Support production planning and ensure smooth material and process flow.
- Lead shop-floor problem-solving and ensure timely resolution of manufacturing issues.
Process Engineering & Improvement
- Develop, establish, and improve manufacturing processes and work methods.
- Prepare and maintain process flow charts, SOPs, work instructions, process parameters, and control plans.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for process and production problems.
- Improve cycle time, machine utilization, yield, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Conduct time studies and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
Required Skills
- Strong shop-floor management and production coordination skills.
- Hands-on experience in CNC machining.
- Working knowledge of plastics manufacturing/processing.
- Working knowledge of composite manufacturing processes.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–8 years of relevant manufacturing/process engineering experience, preferably in a CNC, plastics, composites, automotive, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment.Preferred Experience
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
