Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented LT Panel Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize Low Tension (LT) electrical panels in accordance with customer requirements, applicable standards, and project specifications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD, electrical wiring design, and LT panel engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Design LT electrical panels including PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, AMF, Synchronizing, Distribution, and Control Panels.
Prepare General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, and Bill of Materials (BOM) using AutoCAD.
Develop detailed control wiring and power wiring drawings for manufacturing and site installation.
Design panel layouts, busbar arrangements, cable routing, and component mounting layouts.
Select electrical components such as ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, overload relays, VFDs, PLCs, meters, CTs, PTs, and protection devices.
Perform busbar sizing, cable sizing, load calculations, and short-circuit withstand calculations.
Prepare fabrication drawings and assembly layouts for production.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure wiring and assembly are carried out as per approved drawings.
Review customer specifications, technical documents, and tender requirements.
Provide technical support during panel wiring, testing, FAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with IEC 61439, IS standards, and company quality procedures.
Maintain engineering documentation, drawing revisions, and project records.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
2–8 years of experience in LT Panel Design and Electrical Wiring Design.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical panel design and drafting.
Strong knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams, control circuits, and power circuits.
Experience in preparing GA, SLD, schematic, wiring diagrams, terminal diagrams, and BOM.
Knowledge of IEC 61439, IS standards, and electrical safety practices.
Understanding of switchgear selection, protection systems, and power distribution.
Ability to interpret customer specifications and electrical drawings.
Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills
Experience with EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar electrical design software.
Knowledge of panel manufacturing, testing, and commissioning.
Experience in electrical estimation and costing.
Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.38 - ₹50,000.90 per month
