Key Responsibilities:Patient Care Support:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Help in shifting patients (bed to wheelchair, stretcher, etc.)
- Provide support to elderly, disabled, or critically ill patients
- Ensure patient comfort at all times
Assistance to Nursing Staff:
- Support nurses during procedures and patient care activities
- Carry medical equipment, files, and supplies as required
- Assist in emergency situations as directed by staff
Ward Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and wards
- Change bed linens and keep beds clean and tidy
- Dispose of waste as per hospital infection control protocols
Patient Transport:
- Safely transfer patients to different departments (lab, radiology, OT, etc.)
- Ensure proper handling while transporting patients
Basic Monitoring:
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Inform staff about patient needs or complaints
Support Services:
- Assist in lifting and positioning patients
- Help in arranging patient belongings
- Provide drinking water and basic necessities to patients
Qualifications:
- Minimum: 8th / 10th Pass
- Basic knowledge of hospital environment preferred
Experience:
- Fresher or 1–2 years of experience in hospital/healthcare setting preferred
Skills Required:
- Basic patient handling skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Ability to follow instructions
Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts (including night shifts)
