We are hiring a Powder Coating Painter / Operator for our conveyorized powder coating line. The role involves powder application using electrostatic spray gun, ensuring good finish quality, managing oven curing, and maintaining booth and equipment as per SOP and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate electrostatic powder coating spray gun and apply powder evenly as per shade/finish requirements.
- Ensure proper part preparation: inspection, cleaning/blowing, masking/unmasking, and correct hanging on jigs/conveyor.
- Set and monitor process parameters: KV/voltage, air pressure, powder flow, spray distance, grounding/earthing.
- Maintain coating quality for coverage, finish, texture, gloss, shade matching, and film thickness (where applicable).
- Monitor curing oven temperature and time to ensure proper curing and avoid under/over cure.
- Identify and correct defects like orange peel, pinholes, dust contamination, fish eyes, poor adhesion, thin/thick coating, shade variation.
- Carry out booth cleaning, contamination control, and support color changeover activities.
- Perform routine equipment care: gun cleaning, nozzle/hoses checks, filter cleaning, booth/recovery system basic upkeep.
- Follow safety protocols: PPE usage (mask/respirator, gloves), housekeeping, fire safety, safe powder handling/storage.
- Coordinate with pretreatment/production/quality team for smooth workflow and timely dispatch of coated parts.
- Maintain basic records: production output, shade/batch details, rework/rejection reasons (as required).
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
