We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Sourcing Merchandiser responsible for managing outsourcing activities and ensuring timely procurement of materials and products as per business requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management and sourcing capabilities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for outsourcing requirements.
- Handle end-to-end sourcing of materials/products based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Coordinate with production, design, and merchandising teams for sourcing requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods through effective outsourcing.
- Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery adherence.
- Maintain and update vendor database and sourcing records.
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-effective alternatives.
- Resolve vendor-related issues and ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Support in cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of outsourcing and vendor management.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and timelines.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel for reporting and tracking.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Preferred Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, or procurement roles.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
