Job opening for Art Teacher
Job Location: Bandra East, Mumbai
Brief about Aseema: Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value-based education enabling development of their limitless potential.
It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools – The Pali Chimbai Municipal School in Bandra (West) The Pereirawadi Municipal School in Bandra (West) and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).
Responsibilities and Duties
- To conduct the Art classes for Primary section
- To maintain a portfolio of the artwork of the class
- To organize and plan field trips to art exhibitions
- To prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and evaluation forms
- To teach and prepare students for Elementary and Intermediate Art examinations.
- To teach in an experiential manner.
- To monitor the progress of children by correcting books and assignments regularly
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Art is required.
- Good communication skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Candidates residing in Mumbai preferred.
