Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and qualified Academic Counselor with a background in Psychology to support students’ academic, emotional, and career development. The candidate will guide students in making informed academic decisions while promoting their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic guidance to students regarding subject selection, study plans, and career pathways.
- Offer basic psychological counseling to help students manage stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges.
- Identify students with learning or behavioral difficulties and provide appropriate support.
- Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions.
- Assist students in setting academic goals and improving performance.
- Work closely with teachers and parents to monitor student progress.
- Organize career guidance sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Maintain confidential student records and counseling reports.
- Support students during exam periods and transitions (e.g., moving to higher grades).
- Refer students to professional therapists when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology (mandatory).
- Diploma/Certification in Counseling or School Psychology (preferred).
- B.Ed. (optional but advantageous).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
