About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Backend Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship is an opportunity for students/recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in backend development by working on real-world projects and modern technologies.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of backend programming and databases, along with a strong willingness to learn and solve technical problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable and reusable code.
- Work with C#, .NET and SQL for backend application development.
- Assist in designing, developing and integrating APIs.
- Work with databases, queries, data integration and optimization.
- Understand and implement backend development best practices.
- Assist with debugging, testing and resolving application issues.
- Explore and utilize AI tools to improve development productivity.
- Gain exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Work with Docker and containerized applications (preferred).
- Collaborate with team members on real-world software projects.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and development activities.
Required Skills
Candidates should have basic knowledge of:
- C#
- .NET / .NET Core
- SQL & Database Concepts
- Basic understanding of REST APIs
- Basic programming and OOP concepts
- Problem-solving and logical thinking
- Git/version control is a plus
