Job Summary
The Automobile Insurance Executive is responsible for handling motor insurance renewals, new insurance policies, policy endorsements, claim coordination, customer relationship management, and achieving insurance revenue targets. The role involves coordinating with customers, insurance companies, and dealership departments to ensure smooth insurance operations and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesInsurance Sales & Renewals
- Generate motor insurance business through new vehicle insurance and policy renewals.
- Contact customers for insurance renewals before policy expiry.
- Explain insurance products, coverage, benefits, and premium options to customers.
- Prepare insurance quotations and compare available plans.
- Achieve monthly and annual insurance sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Address customer queries related to insurance policies and claims.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Follow up with customers regarding policy issuance and renewal reminders.
Policy Administration
- Process new insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Verify customer and vehicle documents required for policy issuance.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance transactions and customer data.
- Ensure compliance with insurance company guidelines and dealership policies.
Claims Coordination
- Assist customers in the insurance claim process.
- Coordinate with surveyors, insurance companies, and workshop teams.
- Monitor claim status and update customers regularly.
- Ensure timely submission of claim documents.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly insurance performance reports.
- Track renewal conversions, pending renewals, and claim status.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of policies and claims.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Any Discipline (Preferred).
- Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or Marketing is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of motor insurance products and procedures.
Experience
- 1 to 5 years of experience in automobile insurance, insurance sales, or dealership operations.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered.
Required Skills

- Knowledge of motor insurance policies and claim procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and dealership management systems.
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines.

Salary Range: As per company policy, experience, and performance.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
