The Admission Manager will be responsible for driving student enrolments, managing the admissions counselling team, building institutional partnerships, and achieving monthly and annual admission targets. The role requires strong leadership, counselling expertise, and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Admissions & Recruitment:
- Manage the complete admission cycle from enquiry to enrolment.
- Drive admissions for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs.
- Counsel students and parents on eligibility, fees, scholarships, and career opportunities.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and conversions from enquiry to admission.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor the admissions counselling team.
- Allocate leads, set targets, and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular reviews and training sessions.
- Institutional Networking:
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and referral partners.
- Represent the institution at education fairs, seminars, and networking events.
- Lead Management:
- Monitor the lead funnel to ensure no enquiry is left unattended.
- Drive enquiry-to-application and application-to-admission conversions.
- Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare periodic admission reports and present insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and deadlines.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, or Education). MBA/Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience: 3–7 years in admissions, student counselling, business development, or education sales.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Target-driven and self-motivated work style.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital platforms.
- Willingness to travel for institutional visits and events.
