Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic 'Purchase Executive' who will be responsible for procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for smooth production operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and an understanding of procurement processes within a manufacturing environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Source raw materials, production consumables, and engineering components
- Float RFQs and evaluate supplier quotations
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines
- Issue and track purchase orders
- Coordinate with production, planning, stores, and quality teams
- Build long-term supplier relationships
- Track vendor performance and delivery reliability
- Maintain procurement records and documentation
- Support cost reduction and procurement efficiency initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in BCOM or Diploma in a relevant field
- Experience in Procurement, Purchase, Vendor Management, or Supply Chain preferred
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Knowledge of manufacturing procurement processes is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
