This is This is a multi-centre study initiated by ICMR – 1st to develop rapid, indigenous and cost-effective diagnostic platforms, including an AI-integrated biosensor and isothermal RPA assays, for the early detection of clinically important fungal pathogens These assays will enable POCTs in resource-limited settings improving timely diagnosis and clinical management. The AI-driven image-based diagnostic application will facilitate early diagnosis with minimal expertise and infrastructure in rural and remote areas. The research will also generate disease database and geospatial maps, providing insights into prevalence, distribution and burden of fungal infections in India. The AMDRC lab at St. John’s is one of the participating centres in the study.
Salary : Rs. 36,400- p.m

- Liaise with the faculty Co-PIs from Community Medicine, SJMCH, ASHA workers, and district health officials.
- Recruit study subjects after obtaining informed consent.
- Perform imaging of lesions.
- Coordinate patient referrals to SJMCH for further management as per the study protocol.
- Undertake data entry at the point of recruitment.
- Manage and coordinate mycological laboratory work.
Three Years Graduate degree in relevant subject / field + three Years post qualification experience or PG in relevant subject / field.
Preferred Language: English, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil
