Software Development: Design and develop computer programs that automate specific business processes. This includes creating software solutions that meet the internal and external business needs of DISA.
Problem Solving: Utilize existing knowledge, experience, and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex challenges in software development and business process automation.
Technical Expertise: Apply a high level of technical expertise in software development, programming languages, and development tools to create efficient and effective software solutions.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that the software solutions align with DISA's objectives.
Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for software development, including testing and quality assurance, to deliver reliable and error-free solutions.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of software code and development processes to ensure clarity and ease of maintenance.
Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in software development.
Adherence to Standards: Ensure that software development adheres to industry standards and best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
Troubleshooting: Provide support for identifying and resolving issues in software applications and systems as needed.
Project Management: Manage software development projects, including setting timelines, milestones, and priorities to deliver solutions on schedule. Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related degree; or an associate's degree in computer science.
10 years’ experience working in a software development capacity.
Significant experience working with C#, .NET, Javascript, SQL, HTML, XML, Ember Js or related scripting languages.
Relational Database Design.
Object-oriented programming.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related degree, or an associate’s degree in computer science. DISAWorks® system experience.
Web Services experience.
