About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage sourcing and procurement of dry amenity products used in hospitality and personal care kits. The role involves vendor development, cost negotiation, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials for production and dispatch operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of dry amenity products such as toothbrushes, combs, slippers, shaving kits, razors, shower caps, cotton buds, ear buds, nail filers, socks, eye masks, laundry bags, and related accessories
- Source and develop vendors for hospitality and personal care accessories
- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, and annual contracts with suppliers
- Coordinate with planning, production, warehouse, and quality teams for material requirements
- Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply of materials
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock availability
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost parameters
- Conduct market research for new products, trends, and alternate sourcing opportunities
- Maintain purchase orders, rate contracts, vendor databases, and procurement records
- Ensure materials meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Support new product development and sample procurement activities
- Work closely with packaging and branding teams for customized sourcing requirements
Skills Required
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of dry amenity and hospitality accessory sourcing
- Understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply planning
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement documentation
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and deadlines efficiently
Experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement / Supply Chain
- Experience in hospitality amenities, FMCG, packaging, gifting, or personal care industry preferred
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
