Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in Residential and Commercial Constructions to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of relevant experience and will play a key role in managing project costs, budgets, and financial planning to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage cost estimates and budgets.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare material estimations with accuracy.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budget allocations.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and records.
- Prepare and verify RA Bills, Contractor Bills, Client Bills, and Subcontractor Bills.
- Measure work executed at site and certify quantities for billing purposes.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and accounts for billing and payment processing.
- Prepare BOQs, rate analysis, and variation statements.
- Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and billing records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in Residential and Commercial construction projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software, ERP and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
