JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Executive (Application Support) to provide technical assistance and functional support for business-critical applications. The ideal candidate should have basic experience in troubleshooting, user support, and incident handling for enterprise applications, preferably in a .NET/SQL Server-based environment.
JOB PROFILE
- Respond to client queries via email, support tickets, and phone calls, addressing application-related issues or routing technical issues to developers as needed.
- Provide hands-on application support for key business functions such as online examination, online learning; competency building application functions, and user tracking systems.
- Assist in publishing/assigning online courses, assessments, and related application workflows through internal tools.
- Handle user registration, import/export of data, and basic information setup in the application environment.
- Generate and share reports, user results, and dashboard outputs with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Support the installation of software patches and application installers on remote client machines.
- Maintain detailed logs of support issues, resolutions, and follow-up actions to ensure accurate ticket tracking and closure.
- Assist in testing application modules (functional/user testing) during release cycles.
- Create and manage MIS reports, ISO documentation, forms, and internal templates related to application usage and support.
- Coordinate with development and QA teams to help streamline deployment and patch rollouts.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Good understanding of support workflows for enterprise applications (preferably in .NET/MVC/SQL environments).
- Working knowledge of application administration, including configuration, deployment support, and user management.
- Familiarity with WCF, Web Services, Windows Services, and client-server interactions (non-coding role).
- Hands-on experience in remote installations, patch management, and working with software installers.
- Strong command of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for report generation, documentation, and communication.
- Awareness of web server environments, particularly IIS and cloud-based platforms like AZURE MICROSOFT CLOUD BASED SERVER DEPLOYMENT.
- Understanding of SQL basics—ability to interpret queries, analyze tabular data, and support database-driven apps.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as .NET 2.0/3.5/4.0/4.5 (awareness level).
- Awareness and knowledge of Object-oriented Programming Concepts.
- Good Communication skills verbal and written in English
