About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for our Drone and RC Toys division. The ideal candidate will oversee production planning, shop floor operations, quality, maintenance, inventory, workforce management, and continuous improvement initiatives while driving operational excellence and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations.
- Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery schedules.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational KPIs are achieved.
- Manage production planning, line balancing, capacity planning, and shift operations.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, OEE, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee quality systems including First Pass Yield (FPY), CAPA, IPQC, and defect reduction.
- Lead and develop a manufacturing workforce of 150–200 employees.
- Manage production supervisors, shift in-charges, technicians, and operators.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and HR teams.
- Lead manufacturing readiness for new product introductions (NPI).
- Oversee inventory, stores, material movement, and FIFO compliance.
- Ensure workplace safety, statutory compliance, and adherence to manufacturing standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production MIS and performance reports.
- Drive productivity, cost optimization, and manufacturing excellence.

Eligibility
Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (Mandatory)
- M.Tech or MBA in Operations/Manufacturing (Preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt (Preferred)
Experience
- 10–15 years in electronics or hardware manufacturing.
- Minimum 4–5 years in a Plant Head or Production Head leadership role.
- Experience managing manufacturing teams of 100+ employees.
- Hands-on experience in electronics assembly and manufacturing operations.
- Experience in startup or high-growth manufacturing organizations is preferred.
- Experience in Drone Manufacturing, RC Products, Defence Electronics, EMS, or Consumer Electronics will be an added advantage.
