Job Title: Sweeper / Houseman (Common Area Cleaning)
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Sweeper / Houseman to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our hotel's public and common areas. The ideal candidate will ensure that all guest-facing and staff areas remain clean, safe, and well-maintained, contributing to an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain hotel common areas, including the lobby, corridors, staircases, elevators, restrooms, entrances, and outdoor walkways.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Replenish restroom supplies and maintain cleanliness throughout the day.
- Assist the housekeeping team with moving linen, supplies, furniture, and equipment as needed.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow hotel cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
- Support housekeeping operations during busy periods and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
