About the Role
Trust Enterprise is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and persistent Payment Collection Executive to join our team. As a distribution and application firm specializing in construction chemicals, we deal with various B2B clients, contractors, and retail partners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking outstanding invoices, directly following up with clients, visiting sites or client offices for payment recovery, and ensuring healthy cash flow while maintaining strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Collections: Visit clients, contractors, and construction sites across the Kolkata region to collect pending payments, cheques, and necessary documentation.
- Client Follow-ups: Proactively contact clients via phone, WhatsApp, and email to remind them of upcoming or overdue payments.
- Account Reconciliation: Work closely with the administration and accounts team to resolve any invoice discrepancies or billing issues raised by clients.
- Record Maintenance: Accurately update collection statuses and payment entries into Tally ERP and internal tracking systems.
- Banking Deposits: Ensure collected cheques and cash are safely and promptly deposited into the company’s bank accounts.
- Reporting: Provide daily or weekly collection reports to management, highlighting delayed accounts and proposing recovery steps.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Minimum [12th Pass / B.Com Graduate].
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience in field collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role (experience in the construction materials or chemical distribution sector is a strong advantage).
- Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge, familiar with Microsoft Excel, and prior experience using Tally ERP is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in Bengali and Hindi is required to effectively communicate with local clients and contractors.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a personal two-wheeler for daily field visits.
- Soft Skills: High level of patience, negotiation skills, and a firm but polite approach to dispute resolution.
