ROLE OVERVIEW
The MT is TVS dedicated marketing resource in each cluster. Sales Officers in the field handle primary and secondary sales — the MT role is distinct: to support brand-building activities, gather market intelligence, execute trade marketing, manage the NPS follow-up protocol, and serve as a direct feedback link between the cluster and Head Office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Intelligence
- Conduct regular market visits across dealers, retailers, and electricians in the cluster to observe and record market conditions.
- Track competitor pricing, schemes, new launches, and in-store visibility across the cluster.
- Prepare a fortnightly market intelligence report for Head Office covering competitive activity and consumer trends.
- Capture structured feedback from dealers, electricians, and customers and share findings with the Sales and Marketing teams.
Trade Marketing & Brand Visibility
- Ensure in-store branding, product displays, and point-of-sale materials are correctly placed and maintained at all outlets in the cluster.
- Coordinate and execute dealer meets, electrician meets, and product demonstration events.
- Support rollout of digital and Meta ad campaigns in the cluster — track leads generated and coordinate handover to the sales team.
- Assist in planning and executing local promotional activities and new product launch events.
NPS & Customer Follow-Up
- Call every customer after purchase: Day 2 check-in, Week 1 satisfaction call, and Month 1 NPS survey.
- Record NPS scores and feedback systematically; escalate product or service complaints to the relevant team promptly.
- Submit a monthly NPS summary to Head Office highlighting key feedback themes and recurring issues.
Reporting & MIS
- Submit daily and weekly field reports covering market visits, observations, and marketing activity.
- Maintain a simple cluster dashboard tracking brand visibility status, NPS completion, and campaign execution.
- Participate in monthly business review meetings and present cluster-level market insights.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education & Experience
- BE / B.Tech degree or Any Degree.
- 0–1 year experience. Freshers with consumer goods or electricals internship experience preferred.
Skills
- Good communication in English and the local language — essential for effective interactions with dealers and customers.
- Comfortable in the field — willing to travel 4 to 5 days a week within the assigned cluster.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and review preparation.
- Self-driven, organised, and comfortable working independently in a startup environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
