Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper / Room Attendant

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
Job Summary
A Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas in a hotel. The role ensures guests have a comfortable, safe, and pleasant stay by meeting high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms daily according to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels
- Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furniture
- Replenish guest supplies (toiletries, water, tea/coffee items)
- Check room amenities (TV, AC, lights) and report any issues
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of corridors and service areas
- Handle lost and found items as per hotel policy
- Maintain housekeeping carts and restock supplies
- Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
Additional Duties
- Assist in cleaning public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and elevators
- Respond to guest requests (extra towels, pillows, etc.)
- Support laundry operations if required
- Ensure privacy and security of guest rooms
Skills & Qualifications
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Basic communication skills (helpful for guest interaction)
- Ability to work in a team
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting
Education & Experience
- Minimum: High school or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
- Previous housekeeping experience in hotels is an advantage
Work Environment
- Fast-paced hotel setting
- Shift work, including weekends and holidays
- Physically demanding tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
