We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SolidWorks Designer to join our Design team to support our UK-based steel fabrication team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in SolidWorks design and demonstrate a strong portfolio of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to create innovative design solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and project requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance product quality.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet established deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with SolidWorks.
- In-depth understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with UK teams
