We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious LMV Pickup Driver to join our logistics and operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, or equipment safely and efficiently to various designated locations. You will ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, plan optimal routes using navigation systems, and provide exceptional field service representing our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Transportation: Safely operate light motor vehicles (such as pickup trucks, delivery vans, or utility vehicles) to transport cargo, materials, and equipment to site locations, warehouses, or client offices.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist with or manage the secure loading and unloading of goods into the vehicle, ensuring items are adequately secured to avoid damage during transit.
- Route Optimization: Utilize navigation applications (e.g., Google Maps) to plan the most effective routes, keeping track of traffic and road closures to ensure timely deliveries.
- Vehicle Upkeep: Perform daily pre-trip checks (oil levels, tire pressure, brakes, fuel) and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle (both interior and exterior).
- Documentation & Logs: Maintain accurate logs of trip details, fuel receipts, mileage records, and delivery paperwork. Ensure vehicle insurance, registration, and pollution permits are valid and up-to-date.
- Regulatory Compliance: Strictly adhere to all local and national traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations.
- Issue Reporting: Immediately report any accidents, traffic violations, or mechanical issues/breakdowns to the transport supervisor or HR department.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
