Job Summary:
The Welder is responsible for carrying out welding work on ship hulls, structures, and marine components as per approved drawings, WPS, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding using SMAW / FCAW / GMAW / GTAW as applicable.
- Weld ship structures such as plates, frames, bulkheads, and decks.
- Read and follow drawings, welding symbols, and WPS.
- Ensure weld quality as per classification society requirements.
- Rectify welding defects and support NDT inspections.
- Follow safety procedures and hot-work permit systems.
- Arc welders Preferred
Qualifications & Experience:
- ITI / Trade Certificate in Welding.
- 2–5 years’ experience in shipbuilding or heavy fabrication.
- Valid welder qualification certificates preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
