Job Description
A reputed construction company engaged in projects for VSSC, Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), KPHCC, CPWD and other leading government and institutional organizations is looking to hire a Site Engineer - Civil / Electrical for its projects in Thiruvananthapuram.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors and project teams, monitoring quality and progress of work, and ensuring that all construction activities are completed as per project requirements, drawings, timelines, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site execution for civil or electrical works
Monitor construction activities as per approved drawings and project plans
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams
Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications
Track material usage and site requirements
Maintain site progress reports and daily work updates
Ensure work is completed within deadlines and project schedules
Check measurements and assist in billing-related site documentation
Monitor safety practices and maintain discipline at the site
Report issues, delays, and site observations to the senior team
Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Relevant experience in construction site supervision is preferred
Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered depending on role requirements
Basic understanding of drawings, measurements, and site coordination
Ability to work on government, institutional, or infrastructure-related projects
Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidate should be responsible, disciplined, and proactive
Ability to handle site work independently
Willingness to work at project sites in Thiruvananthapuram
Experience in projects related to government or large institutional clients will be an advantage
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
