ExtraLearn – A Freelance Educational Marketplace by SiteSign, is seeking knowledgeable and passionate Online Economics Tutors (Freelance) to provide quality learning support to students across different academic levels. This is a flexible, work-from-home opportunity for educators, economics experts, and professionals dedicated to helping learners understand economic principles, develop analytical thinking, and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online Economics tutoring sessions for students of different grades, levels, and learning backgrounds.
- Teach fundamental and advanced Economics concepts, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic systems, markets, demand and supply, national income, public finance, international trade, and other relevant topics based on the student’s curriculum and academic requirements.
- Develop personalized lesson plans according to students’ learning needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Explain complex economic concepts using engaging, practical, and interactive teaching methods, including real-world examples, case studies, and current economic scenarios.
- Assign practice exercises, projects, assessments, and homework to monitor student progress.
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their conceptual understanding, analytical skills, and academic performance.
- Create an engaging, supportive, and student-centered virtual learning environment.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication with students through the ExtraLearn platform.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Studies, Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of economic theories, principles, and analytical methods.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching abilities.
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, training, or online instruction will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards, presentation tools, or other educational technologies.
- Ability to explain complex economic concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods according to different learning styles.
- Relevant teaching certifications, advanced qualifications, or professional experience in Economics education will be an added advantage.
