Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, prepare financial reports, and support the finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Tally ERP/Tally Prime, and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and MIS reports.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and tax consultants.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work.
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com / CA Inter is preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP and Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the building materials, trading, or manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ERP software is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
