Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic TGT Social Science Teacher to handle middle and secondary grades (VI–X). The candidate should be capable of teaching History, Geography, Civics, and Economics with conceptual clarity and interactive teaching methods aligned with Matric, CBSE, and International curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) for Grades VI–X
- Prepare lesson plans as per curriculum guidelines
- Use maps, charts, case studies, and real-world examples for effective teaching
- Conduct regular assessments, projects, and assignments
- Prepare students for board examinations (especially Grade X)
- Encourage critical thinking, debates, and current affairs discussions
- Maintain academic records and student progress reports
- Provide remedial support for students requiring additional assistance
- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, and academic planning
- Integrate digital tools and smart board technology in teaching
Qualification & Experience
- B.A. / M.A. in History / Geography / Political Science / Economics
- B.Ed. (Mandatory for CBSE)
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience handling Grade X board class is an added advantage

- Strong subject knowledge across Social Science disciplines
- Excellent communication and storytelling ability
- Classroom management skills
- Ability to connect historical and social concepts with real-life examples
- Knowledge of current affairs and global perspectives
