Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced HR & Admin Manager with strong practical knowledge of Factory HR, Labour Compliance, PF, ESIC, Payroll and Statutory Compliance. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day HR and factory compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
HR & Administration
- Manage complete employee lifecycle from joining to exit.
- Recruitment, onboarding and employee documentation.
- Attendance, leave, discipline and employee grievance management.
- Maintain employee files, HR records and statutory documents.
- Implement company HR policies and procedures.
- Handle day-to-day factory HR & administrative activities.
Payroll
- Manage monthly attendance and payroll inputs.
- Verify salary, deductions, PF, ESIC, advances and other payroll components.
- Ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
- Maintain payroll and salary-related records.
PF & ESIC Compliance
- Strong practical knowledge of PF and ESIC compliance is mandatory.
- Employee PF/ESIC registration and exit formalities.
- UAN-related activities.
- Monthly PF ECR preparation, upload and challan generation/payment.
- Monthly ESIC contribution calculation, challan generation and payment.
- Maintain PF/ESIC challans, receipts and records.
- Handle PF/ESIC employee queries and compliance-related matters.
Factory & Labour Compliance
- Good practical knowledge of Factory Compliance and Labour Laws.
- Maintain applicable statutory registers, records and notices.
- Knowledge of working hours, weekly off, leave, wages, overtime and other applicable labour requirements.
- Coordinate with Labour Department, Factory Inspectorate and other government authorities.
- Support factory inspections, audits and compliance verification.
- Ensure timely completion of applicable statutory returns and filings.
Government Compliance & Portals
- Practical experience with EPFO, ESIC and other applicable government portals.
- Track compliance due dates and ensure timely payments and filings.
- Maintain complete compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants and government authorities whenever required.
Factory Administration
- Manage factory manpower and general administration.
- Coordinate security, housekeeping and employee facilities.
- Manage gate passes, uniforms and other administrative requirements.
- Ensure proper discipline and implementation of company rules.
Mandatory Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant HR & Admin experience, preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG factory.
- Strong practical knowledge of PF, ESIC, ECR and statutory challans.
- Good knowledge of Factory and Labour Compliance.
- Experience handling government portals and statutory documentation.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and payroll.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage HR and compliance activities.
Qualification
MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification preferred.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Manufacturing or Factory HR will be preferred.
