Position: IT Support / Sr. IT Support
Location: Symbiosis World School, Lavale, Pune
Experience: 5–7 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and administrative teams for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, interactive panels, and other IT peripherals.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, switches, routers, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
- Manage user accounts, email configurations, system access, and password administration.
- Ensure proper functioning of smart classroom technology, audiovisual equipment, and IT setups across the campus.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance of IT infrastructure and maintain asset inventory records.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware repairs, software licensing, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
- Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems, antivirus solutions, and essential software applications.
- Implement data backup procedures and support disaster recovery initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies and maintain confidentiality of institutional data.
- Provide technical assistance during school events, examinations, webinars, and online learning sessions.
- Prepare documentation for IT assets, service requests, maintenance logs, and technical reports.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
- Relevant technical certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in IT Support, Hardware, Networking, and IT Infrastructure Management.
- Experience in educational institutions, schools, or universities will be preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
