Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess and monitor students’ progress through tests, assignments, and observations
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Maintain discipline and ensure classroom management
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and participation
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress
- Organize classroom activities, events, and educational trips
- Maintain records of attendance, grades, and student development
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or relevant field
- Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (preferred in many schools)
- Strong knowledge of child development and teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching
