Job OverviewWe are looking for a data-driven and process-oriented Zoho Business Analyst with approximately 3 years of experience to bridge the gap between our business needs and our tech stack. In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to audit, map, and optimize internal operations, translating them into highly functional automations, dashboards, and custom modules across the Zoho ecosystem.The ideal candidate possesses strong requirement-gathering skills alongside hands-on configuration experience with core Zoho applications.
Key Responsibilities1. Requirement Elicitation & Process Mapping
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Finance) to conduct discovery sessions and audit existing workflows.
- Translate ambiguous business ideas into structured documents, including Functional Specification Document (FSD), user stories, and wireframes.
- Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, and data redundancies, proposing scalable digital transformation alternatives.
2. Zoho Setup & Configuration
- Hands-on administration and optimization of core apps such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Books/Invoice, Zoho Desk, and Zoho Flow.
- Configure standard elements: fields, custom layouts, user profiles/roles, permission sets, and multi-stage pipelines.
3. Integrations & Data Management
- Map and document data-flows for integrations between native Zoho applications and external third-party software (Websites, Payment Gateways, ERPs).
- Assist technical developers in designing requirements for API integrations and custom extensions.
4. Analytics & Change Management
- Build daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards and KPIs using Zoho Analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Create and update up-to-date system documentation, data dictionaries, and user manuals.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and lead end-user training sessions to ensure high adoption rates across the company.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience working as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years focused heavily within the Zoho ecosystem.
- Core Skills: Requirement gathering, Business Process Mapping (BPMN), gap analysis, data modeling, and data visualization.
- Technical Familiarity:
- Strong administrative knowledge of Zoho One applications (CRM, Creator, Analytics, Flow are highly preferred).
- A foundational understanding of relational databases and API webhooks.
- Bonus: Basic exposure to Deluge scripting (Zoho’s proprietary language) to communicate effectively with technical developers.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to negotiate and manage priorities with stakeholders independently.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
