The Civil Site Engineer oversees day-to-day construction operations at the site, ensuring projects are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines. The role involves coordination with contractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, designs, and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Check and verify materials, quantities, and workmanship.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site safety practices.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain site records, including work progress, materials, and labor.
- Ensure proper use of equipment and resources.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in construction/site engineering (typically 1–5+ years depending on role level).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
