The Director – MBA is responsible for the academic leadership, strategic planning, administration, and overall performance of the MBA program. The role ensures academic excellence, accreditation compliance, faculty effectiveness, student success, and industry engagement, aligning the program with institutional goals.

Oversee curriculum design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the MBA program

Ensure compliance with AICTE / University / Accreditation norms

Monitor academic quality, teaching standards, and learning outcomes

Promote research, publications, and consultancy among faculty

Manage day-to-day operations of the MBA department

Prepare and control department budgets and resource allocation

Oversee faculty recruitment, appraisal, mentoring, and development

Ensure proper documentation, audits, and statutory submissions

Support admission planning, intake targets, and marketing strategies

Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to enhance student enrollment

Participate in admission interviews, orientations, and outreach activities

Build and maintain strong industry partnerships

Strengthen internships, live projects, guest lectures, and MoUs

Oversee training & placement activities for MBA students

Ensure effective student mentoring, discipline, and grievance handling

Promote leadership, ethics, entrepreneurship, and holistic development

Support co-curricular and extra-curricular initiatives

Develop long-term strategies for program growth and rankings

Introduce new specializations, certifications, and value-added programs

Drive innovation in teaching-learning practices

10–15 years of academic experience, including leadership/administrative roles

Proven experience in MBA program management and accreditation processes

Strong academic and administrative leadership

Strategic thinking and decision-making ability

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Knowledge of AICTE, NBA, NAAC frameworks
