An SAP MM (Materials Management) Faculty member is responsible for training students and professionals on the SAP Materials Management module. They design course curricula, deliver engaging instruction on procurement cycles and inventory, and conduct hands-on, real-time SAP S/4HANA exercises. [1, 2]Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Instruct learners on SAP MM processes, including enterprise structure, master data, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles, and inventory management.
- Material Creation: Develop comprehensive training materials, case studies, assignments, and quizzes.
- Practical Training: Guide students through system screens, configurations, and hands-on S/4HANA or ERP exercises.
- Doubt Resolution: Address learner questions, troubleshoot system/configuration errors, and ensure clear knowledge transfer.
- Assessment & Support: Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and assist with interview preparation and career guidance.
- Continuous Learning: Keep training content aligned with the latest SAP innovations and industry best practices. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Essential Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM with practical implementation or support experience.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in Material Master, Vendor Master, Pricing Procedures, Inventory Valuation, and MM-FI or MM-QM integration.
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 5+ years of relevant industry or training experience (consultancy background is highly preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or Supply Chain Management (MBA or SAP Certification is a distinct advantage).
- Soft Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to simplify complex concepts for adult learners
