Job Title: Coordinator

Reports To: Preschool Director / Principal
Position Overview
Kanasu Preschool is seeking a warm, organized, and proactive Preschool Coordinator to support the daily operations of our early childhood program. This role plays a key part in ensuring a nurturing, safe, and well-structured learning environment for children, while also supporting teachers, parents, and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, highly organized, and able to balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on school support.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Operations Support
- Coordinate daily school activities and classroom schedules
- Support implementation of curriculum and special programs
- Ensure classrooms are adequately staffed and supplied
- Maintain student records and attendance logs
Parent & Community Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for parent inquiries
- Assist with parent meetings, orientations, and school events
- Support communication through newsletters, emails, and announcements
Staff Coordination
- Assist in scheduling staff and substitutes
- Support onboarding of new teachers and staff
- Facilitate communication between teachers and management
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and licensing regulations
- Maintain documentation required by regulatory authorities
- Support admissions, enrollment processes, and fee tracking
Event & Activity Planning
- Coordinate school events, celebrations, and field trips
- Support workshops, parent engagement activities, and special programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in preschool administration or teaching
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of early childhood education standards and safety regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
