About the Company
A leading Japanese multinational manufacturing company is looking for enthusiastic and career-oriented Purchase Engineers to join its Procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh engineering graduates to build their careers in procurement, customer coordination, and industrial supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement activities based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Support sourcing of industrial consumables, engineering components, and MRO materials.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, purchase-related documentation, and customer enquiries.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and visits.
- Monitor procurement activities and ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support smooth order execution.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business growth.
- Track market trends and competitor activities to support procurement decisions.
Preferred Profile
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in Procurement, Purchase, Sales Support, or Manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Understanding of industrial consumables, engineering components, or MRO products is an added advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits when required.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
