We are looking for a Specialist - Contract Management (Estimation), who thrives in a high performance and fast paced technical environment. As a Specialist within the Contract Management (Estimation) team, you will be responsible for performing all critical tasks, ensuring that our customer receives a great product.

Lead estimation and costing activities for aerospace metallic components

Prepare accurate cost models, quotations, and commercial inputs for RFQs

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure competitive and feasible bids

Analyse engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T to determine manufacturing requirements

Prepare detailed cost estimates covering CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, and special processes (heat treatment, anodizing, plating, NDT)

Develop bid packages and pricing strategies for aerospace customer programs

Ensure estimates comply with aerospace standards (AS9100, ISO 9001)

Assess manufacturability of metallic aerospace parts using CNC machining and advanced processes

Define machining routings, cycle times, and tooling requirements

Evaluate special processes (surface treatment, welding, coating) for cost and feasibility

Support process optimization and value engineering initiatives

Liaise with suppliers for cost inputs, lead-time commitments, and special process quotations

Communicate with customers to clarify technical requirements and provide competitive quotations

Support supplier audits and ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Maintain estimation records in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

Prepare cost analysis reports and dashboards for management review

Track KPIs such as cycle time, schedule adherence, and cost variance

Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to align estimates with actual manufacturing capabilities

Support project managers in preparing cost baselines and budgets

Contribute to continuous improvement in estimation workflows

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field
-
Minimum 4+ years in estimation/costing roles, with direct exposure to CNC machining and aerospace special processes

CNC machining process knowledge (milling, turning, 5-axis machining)

Special processes (heat treatment, anodizing, plating, NDT)

ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle)
