Position Overview :
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in procurement sourcing and vendor development. The role involves identifying suppliers, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating prices, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for business operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, experience working with multiple vendors, and the ability to manage procurement activities efficiently while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers for materials, components, and services.
- Source quotations from multiple vendors and compare pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Manage the complete procurement cycle.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
- Create and manage RFQs (Request for Quotations) and evaluate supplier responses.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, production, and finance teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production or project delays.
- Track supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost competitiveness.
- Resolve supply issues, delivery delays, and quality concerns with vendors.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase documentation.
- Support cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing, supplier development, and price negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation requirements.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for better sourcing and cost optimization
Qualifications, Experience, Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing and vendor management.
- Experience in handling domestic and international suppliers is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, commercial terms, and purchase documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing requirements simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, preferably within technology, engineering, manufacturing,battery, e-mobility, or related sectors.
- Exposure to startups, manufacturing, EV, battery, or technology industries will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
