Job SummaryAre you an experienced Application Support Engineer who can not only find production issues but also jump into the codebase to fix them?
we are considering your profile for the position of L3 Application Support Engineer (Front Office) with ITC Infotech, based in Bangalore (Work from Office).
This is a support-and-development role designed for an IT professional with 6 to 10 years of experience who possesses strong coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. You will work closely with our development and business teams to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical, front-office applications.Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide L3 production support for critical front-office applications, resolving complex issues within defined SLAs.
- Code-Level Analysis: Analyze logs, debug source code, identify software defects, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Bug Fixing & Enhancements: Actively participate in bug fixing, code reviews, and minor development activities to permanently resolve recurring incidents.
- System Monitoring: Monitor application health, performance, and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work with development and infrastructure teams to deploy production releases and enhance application stability.
- Documentation: Maintain high-quality technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Mandatory Requirements (Profiles without these will not be shortlisted)
- Experience: 6–10 years of overall IT experience split between L2/L3 Application Support and active Software Development.
- Coding Skills: Hands-on experience coding and debugging in at least one major language: Java, Python, or C++.
- Assessment: Willingness to undergo a technical CoderPad programming assessment.
- Work Location: 100% Work from Office (WFO) in Bangalore.
- First preference will be given to Immediate joiners
- Flexibility: Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations, rotational shifts, weekends, or public holidays if rostered.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Strong command of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
- Exposure to AWS Cloud environments.
- Experience supporting high-availability, trading, or financial front-office systems.
