Position: CNC & VMC Machine Operator – Trainee
Department: Production
Experience: Fresher / 0–1 Year
Qualification: ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC/VMC machines as per approved work instructions and production schedules.
- Load/unload components and ensure proper machine setup under supervision.
- Perform basic inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and Gauges.
- Follow drawing, process sheets and quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Maintain 5S, cleanliness and safety standards at the workplace.
- Record production, inspection and rejection details accurately.
- Follow PPE, EHS and company safety procedures.
- Support senior operators/technicians in setup, tooling and basic troubleshooting.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of machining and engineering drawings.
- Willingness to learn CNC/VMC operation and machining processes.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Good discipline, attention to detail and willingness to work in shifts.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
Training & Growth
The trainee will receive on-the-job training in CNC/VMC operation, machine setup, tooling, inspection, quality and shop-floor safety, with opportunities for progression based on performance and skill development.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
