Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement planning, inventory management, production coordination, logistics, and customer dispatches. The role ensures uninterrupted material availability, timely deliveries, inventory optimization, and efficient coordination between production, stores, purchase, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and monitor the end-to-end supply chain process to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Plan raw material requirements (Kraft Paper, Starch, Chemicals, Inks, Adhesives, Packaging Materials, etc.) based on production plans.
- Coordinate with the Purchase team to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure timely manufacturing and order fulfillment.
- Plan and monitor dispatch schedules to ensure on-time deliveries to customers.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for vehicle availability and dispatch execution.
- Track pending orders, dispatch status, and customer deliveries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to inventory, production, dispatch, and supply chain performance.
- Analyze supply chain data and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Production, and Sales teams to resolve supply chain issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
- MBA in Operations/Supply Chain (preferred).
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or Operations in a Corrugated Box, Packaging, Paper, Printing, or Manufacturing industry.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Production Planning.
- Experience in Inventory Management and Material Planning.
- Understanding of Procurement and Vendor Coordination.
- Knowledge of Dispatch Planning and Logistics Management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
