Production Engineer – Heavy Fabrication
Location: Chakan, Pune
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Engineer with hands-on experience in heavy fabrication and shop-floor production. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, manpower handling, quality, safety and smooth fabrication operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop-floor fabrication and production activities.
- Allocate work and handle fitters, welders, operators and helpers.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Read and understand engineering/fabrication drawings.
- Monitor fit-up, welding, fabrication and assembly activities.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Stores and Maintenance.
- Monitor productivity, rejection, rework and material wastage.
- Ensure 5S, PPE, safety and housekeeping standards.
- Prepare daily production and manpower reports.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Heavy Fabrication / Structural Fabrication.
- Good knowledge of Welding, Fit-up and Fabrication Processes.
- Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Strong manpower handling and leadership skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel & MS Word.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
