Job Summary
A Logistics Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the transportation, dispatch, delivery, and movement of goods. The role ensures timely delivery, cost-effective transportation, proper documentation, and smooth coordination with customers, transporters, vendors, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch and transportation activities.
- Arrange vehicles and transporters for timely delivery of materials.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Prepare and verify logistics documents such as invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, LR copies, and transport receipts.
- Maintain records of freight charges, transportation costs, and delivery status.
- Coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, customers, and transport agencies.
- Monitor vehicle movement and resolve transportation issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries related to dispatch and delivery status.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.
- Manage POD (Proof of Delivery) collection and record maintenance.
- Support inventory and warehouse operations as required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of transportation and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with E-Way Bill and GST documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP software.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience: 1–5 years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in coal, mining, steel, power, or bulk material transportation industries.
- Knowledge of freight management and transporter coordination.

- On-time delivery percentage.

- POD collection efficiency.
- Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
