Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Shift Incharge to oversee feed production operations and ensure smooth plant functioning during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in feed manufacturing, team management, production planning, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all feed production activities during the assigned shift.
- Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor plant operations and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Lead and guide production operators and workers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Monitor raw material consumption and control production losses.
- Maintain shift-wise production records, inventory reports, and operational logs.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of feed manufacturing processes and plant operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Understanding of production planning and inventory control.
- Ability to handle shift operations independently.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing environments.
