Key Responsibilities
1. Quality System Development & Implementation
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Quality Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and inspection protocols.
- Ensure alignment of internal processes with brand requirements and international quality standards.
- Standardize quality checkpoints across all production stages (pre-production, in-line, end-line, and final).
2. Inspection ,Compliance & Process Control
- Design and implement inspection frameworks for raw materials, in-process garments, and finished goods.
- Monitor and supervise in-line and end-line inspections to ensure early defect detection.
- Establish preventive measures to minimize rework and rejection rates.
- Plan and conduct regular internal quality audits across departments.
- Ensure compliance with brand SOPs, factory standards, and certification requirements.
- Identify gaps and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
3. Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze inspection data using tools such as Traffic Light Charts, Pareto Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Track key quality metrics (DHU – Defects per Hundred Units, RFT – Right First Time, etc.).
- Identify recurring issues and implement process improvements to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
4. Pre-Production & Sample Approval
- Review and approve Pre-Production Samples (PPS) to ensure they meet design, fit, and construction standards.
- Coordinate with merchandising, production, and technical teams to resolve discrepancies before bulk production.
- Ensure all quality expectations are clearly communicated before production begins.
5. Final Inspection Management
- Oversee final inspections to ensure shipments meet buyer quality standards and AQL requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors or buyer representatives during final audits.
- Approve or reject shipments based on inspection outcomes.
Key Tasks (Operational Focus)
- Approve and document Pre-Production Samples (PPS).
- Supervise in-line inspections during production.
- Monitor end-line inspections before finishing.
- Manage and approve final shipment inspections.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports and dashboards.
- Conduct daily/weekly quality review meetings with production teams.
Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills
- Deep knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and stitching techniques.
- Expertise in defect analysis and classification.
- Strong understanding of AQL standards and quality systems.
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis and reporting tools.
Analytical Skills
- Ability to interpret quality data and identify trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills using root cause analysis methods

Experience Requirements
- Extensive experience (typically 5–10+ years) in garment quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience in factory environments + Brands with exposure to end-to-end production processes.
- Prior experience handling buyer audits and compliance standards is highly preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
