Hiring: Head of Kindergarten / Foundation Stage
Location: Patiala, Punjab
A reputed CBSE School in Patiala is inviting applications for the position of Head of Kindergarten / Foundation Stage.
Experience Required:
- 10–15 years of experience in Kindergarten/Early Years Education.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a leadership role (Kindergarten Head, Foundation Head, Academic Coordinator, or equivalent) in a reputed CBSE school.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate/Graduate with B.Ed.
- NTT, ECCEd, Montessori, or equivalent Early Childhood Education qualification preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Kindergarten/Foundation Wing in line with CBSE and NEP 2020 guidelines.
- Develop and implement an engaging, child-centric, play-based curriculum.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate Kindergarten teachers to ensure high-quality teaching practices.
- Maintain academic standards, lesson planning, assessments, and documentation.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Build strong partnerships with parents through effective communication and regular engagement.
- Oversee classroom observations, teacher appraisals, and continuous professional development.
Essential Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Early Childhood Education, CBSE framework, and NEP 2020.
- Expertise in curriculum planning, classroom management, and child development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in academic planning, assessment strategies, and school documentation.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor teachers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preference:
- Candidates with a proven track record of successfully leading a Kindergarten/Foundation department in a reputed CBSE school.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred. Salary: Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and current industry standards.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Kindergarten wing and coordinate with school leadership.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom practices.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
