### About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and student-focused *Career & University Guidance Counselor* to help students make informed decisions about their academic and career futures.
The role involves guiding students through the journey from *self-discovery and career exploration to university selection, applications, and admission*. The ideal candidate will be able to build meaningful relationships with students and parents, provide personalised guidance, and stay updated on emerging careers and higher education opportunities in India and globally.
### Key Responsibilities
* Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions for students.
* Help students identify their interests, strengths, aspirations, and potential career pathways.
* Guide students in exploring careers, courses, subjects, and future opportunities.
* Support students in identifying and evaluating suitable universities and academic programs.
* Guide students through the complete university application process, including timelines, essays, personal statements, portfolios, interviews, and scholarships.
* Help students build and maintain an Individual Career / University Portfolio.
* Track student progress, application milestones, deadlines, and university outcomes.
* Conduct parent counseling sessions and information sessions on careers and higher education.
* Organise university interactions, information sessions, fairs, and other student engagement activities.
* Build and maintain relationships with universities, admissions teams, and higher education networks.
* Research emerging careers, university programs, scholarships, and changing admission trends.
* Maintain accurate student records and prepare regular reports on counseling and university outcomes.
* Contribute to the development of a structured, student-centred career and university guidance program.
### Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Career Guidance, or a related field.
* Experience in career counseling, university guidance, admissions counseling, student development, or education.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple students and deadlines.
* Knowledge of Indian and/or international higher education systems is desirable.
* Certification in Career Counseling or Guidance is an advantage.
