JOB ROLE – HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR
Property: Ventus Pines, Kasauli (18 Rooms)
Key Responsibilities1. Room Inspection & Cleanliness
- Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned as per hotel standards.
- Inspect rooms before guest check-in.
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobby, restaurant, terrace, and public areas.
- Ensure washrooms are sanitized and stocked with amenities.
2. Housekeeping Team Management
- Allocate daily duties to room attendants and cleaners.
- Monitor staff grooming, attendance, and productivity.
- Train housekeeping staff on SOPs and cleaning standards.
- Conduct daily briefings and shift handovers.
3. Guest Service
- Attend guest housekeeping requests promptly.
- Ensure extra beds, linens, towels, and amenities are delivered on time.
- Resolve guest complaints related to room cleanliness and housekeeping services.
4. Linen & Laundry Control
- Maintain linen inventory and par stock levels.
- Monitor laundry quality and turnaround time.
- Record damaged, stained, or missing linen items.
- Ensure proper storage of clean linen.
5. Inventory & Store Management
- Maintain stock of cleaning chemicals, guest supplies, and amenities.
- Submit purchase requirements to management.
- Control wastage and misuse of housekeeping materials.
6. Maintenance Coordination
- Report room maintenance issues to the Operations Manager.
- Follow up on repairs and ensure rooms are ready for sale.
- Conduct daily room condition checks.
7. Reporting
- Prepare Daily Housekeeping Report.
- Share room status (Vacant, Occupied, Check-out, Out of Order) with Front Office.
- Maintain lost and found register.
- Track housekeeping expenses and inventory consumption.
KPI (Performance Indicators)
- Room cleanliness score above 95%.
- All check-out rooms ready within standard turnaround time.
- Minimum guest complaints related to housekeeping.
- Proper inventory control and reduced linen loss.
- High guest satisfaction ratings on cleanliness.
Reporting To
Operations Manager / General Manager
Salary Range
₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience and accommodation provided).
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
