Job Summary
The Junior PLC Programmer is responsible for PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems. The role involves supporting project execution at factory and customer sites and requires frequent travel for installation and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and site support for automation systems.
- Configure PLCs, VFDs, SCADA, and industrial communication networks.
- Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, and electrical control system issues.
- Read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain PLC program backups.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Project teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Provide technical support and user training at project sites.
Eligibility
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years in PLC programming and industrial automation.
Required Skills
- Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Delta, Mitsubishi, Omron, or ABB PLCs.
- Knowledge of HMI/SCADA, VFDs, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control systems.
- Good communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Other Requirements
- Willing to travel extensively to project sites for installation, commissioning, and service support.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
